Andersen in Egypt Signs Cooperation Agreement with the British University in Egypt
Andersen in Egypt, a member firm of Andersen Global, an international association of member firms, has signed a cooperation protocol with the British University in Egypt (BUE) at a ceremony hosted at the university’s headquarters, located in Sherouk City. In attendance were the University Rector, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, as well as Mr. Maher Milad, Managing Partner of Andersen Tax & Legal and a number of other partners, lawyers, and financial experts. The agreement pertains that the BUE’s Faculty of Law and Andersen Tax & Legal will cooperate to exchange research activities in relevant areas. This includes the provision of training courses by Andersen Tax & Legal to students, preparing them for entering the practical reality of the legal world.
The Faculty of Law at the BUE was established through Ministerial Decree No. 344 of the year 2015 and will soon be graduating its first class of distinguished students, who will receive a bachelor’s degree in law from Egypt, as well as the LLB degree from the University of London South Bank in England. The university aims to enrich their students with the highest of standards and skills, through supporting them with the provision of research and training given by legal experts, from internationally renowned law firms.
Andersen in Egypt will allow students of the law faculty training in its office in Egypt or one of its offices around the world. The students would benefit from the experts and specialists in all areas of law as well as the appointment of the distinguished graduates from the college.
